FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear answers for the questions that stop people moving forward.
You do not need to understand every part of regeneration before taking a useful next step.
01 / Starting
Do I need to own a building?
No. Owners, champions, public bodies, communities, researchers, specialists, sponsors and technology partners can all have useful routes.
What can I explore publicly?
You can explore approved public building information in RegenerationOS™. Restricted owner, tenant, research and project data are not public by default.
What is RegenerationOS™?
It is the shared platform for building, evidence, people, decisions and next actions.
How does Grand Bequest use AI?
AI supports evidence organisation, pattern detection, scenario comparison, and gap identification. Accountable people make building, planning, professional, public, and investment decisions.
How do I bring forward a building?
Start with the building, your relationship to it and the next decision that needs clarity. A public record or conversation can help identify the proportionate next move.
02 / Participating
How can communities contribute?
Communities can add verified history, photographs taken from public places, local needs, future-use ideas and context that formal records may miss.
Can researchers contribute?
Yes. Research is most useful when a live question, method, ethics, data, outputs and the decision affected are clearly defined.
Can delivery or technology partners contribute?
Yes. Delivery capability can connect to a real scope and phase, while technology should address a bounded workflow need with clear governance and limits.
What information becomes public?
Only information approved for public use. Private owner, tenant, research and project information remains restricted unless an authorised person changes that status.
03 / Buying readiness
What is Grand Grade™?
Grand Grade™ is the first separately commissioned stage of Project Readiness. It organises evidence to clarify the opportunity and the next accountable decision.
What is GreenLit?
GreenLit is the combined purchase of Grand Grade, Kick Off and Investment Readiness for one named building.
What does each stage include?
Each stage answers a different readiness question, organises defined work and creates a visible Go, Pause or Stop point before further commitment.
Does readiness guarantee funding or planning?
No. Readiness strengthens evidence, coordination and the proposition. Consent, procurement, finance, investment and delivery remain separate accountable decisions.
04 / Getting guidance
When should I log in?
Log in when you want to manage a building or project record, contribute within your role or see restricted work you have been invited to.
When should I book a call?
Book when you have a named building, place, milestone, portfolio priority or defined contribution and need guided next steps.
What should I bring to the call?
Bring the building or place, your relationship to it, the question or milestone you are carrying and any boundary that matters.
Does booking guarantee access, work, finance or appointment?
No. A call helps determine fit and next steps. It does not guarantee project-team access, funding, sponsorship, investment, procurement, paid work or a research placement.
